Hello World.

I’m Yusra, born in Singapore and of Chinese-Malay descent; currently living in Canada. Anyone who has met me would know that my #1 love in the whole world is FOOD which will be the central theme of this website.

Given my obsession with cooking and baking, I will be sharing recipes that are deemed worthy from experience. This blog will be a platform for me to delve into cultural and socioeconomic issues through a culinary-based lens. And since most of my trips are usually planned around food spots, I will also be publishing my experiences and recommendations from travelling.

Back in my youth, I studied Biomedical Science before switching over to Economics, and so my upcoming posts will probably include random snippets on Food Chemistry as well as brief economic histories related to food from various parts of the world and ethnicities based on the unlimited wealth of information that the internet offers.
